Madurai Group Living Foundation
Madurai Group Living Foundation (MGLF) is a Trust created by the Parents of Special Children. The term “Special Children” is inclusive of “Persons with Mental Retardation, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Multiple Disabilities”.
The Special Children being socially aloof and insecure they are fully dependent on others. Considering this anguish we are involving ourselves fully to give required consultation, help and support to the parents of Special Children.
As per the objectives and principles of the Act “Persons with Disabilities Act 1995 (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation)” we are travelling passionately towards the goal of giving solution and relief to the Special Children and their parents.
To create a complete support system for Special Children and their parents
To create awareness among parents of Special Children
To enable parents and teachers impart life enhancing skills to Special Children
Organising Special Children, their parents and Special Educators and bring them into a common platform and enhancing their standard of life through various activities, awareness camps and empowerment sessions
